During a port call to Ghent, one of our clients came to us with a challenge outside of the ordinary. One of their vessels had a technical malfunction on the pistons for the loading hatches. Through our logistics department, a full solution including crane-trucks was put into place.
Transporting the new pistons to the vessel, handling placement in close contact with the vessels super-intendent and returning of the new pistons.
All done within 24 hours after the initial challenge was brought up, with items weighing over 2500 kilo’s each.
